Deprecating APIs
In Xapi, the organization owner, admins, and project reviewers can deprecate both internal and external APIs to ensure proper governance and lifecycle management.
When to Deprecate an API?
An API should be deprecated when:
- A newer version replaces the existing API.
- The API is no longer maintained or supported.
- Business or security requirements necessitate its discontinuation.
- The API is in Review in Progress or Done status and must be deprecated before deletion.
To deprecate an API:

Click horizontal eclipse on a preferred API.

Select Deprecate API.

In the confirmation pop-up, click Yes, deprecate.
